2010 Leadership Awards

Many leaders were recognized at the 2010 leader Banquet in December.  Each of our leaders contributes to the great success of our program and the development of our youth.  We greatly appreciate each and every one of them!

Meritorious Service and Alumni Awards

Monroe County 4-H has been blessed through the years to have an outstanding corps of volunteers, who make our program strong and provide endless opportunities for our youth.  At our 2010 Leaders banquet, we will again be recognizing a  special group of alumni and volunteers that are contributing to our 4-H program and our youth.  Below, please see the list of those who have been honored in the past.  We are still enjoying the benefits of their contributions, and we are still grateful!

2010 State Awards

Monroe County 4-H was represented by 32 youth at the State Award Assembly and Celebration at MSU on June 23 and 24. During the Assembly, the delegates interviewed with the State Award Selection Teams, participated in a community service project promoting literacy by donating books that were distributed to children around the state, and shared their ideas and enthusiasm with 4-H members and leaders from the Ohio and Indiana borders to the northernmost regions of the U.P.

Our delegates have a lot to be proud of: Monroe County produced eight State Award Winners, and another eight Honors Delegates! The skills our youth develop through our county 4-H program lead them to recognition as "the best of the best" in Michigan!
